my car: b6, 34K, lowered
his car: b5, 130K lowered (but the b6 is lower)

shoes: 235,45, 17s on nokians

the weather (going up to NYE south shore): http://www.snowforecast.com/californiafcst/kirkwood.html

less mileage/lower/no rubbing
more mileage/lowered but not as low/might have rubbing issues

which car would you stick those nokians on?

Thanks for your input!!! *mwuah*

The national weather service discussion says there could be record snowfall this weekend in the neighborhood of 4 feet on Saturday

Keep an eye on this forecast-
http://www.wrh.noaa.gov/rev/
Just click on SLT for the local stuff. It's the only forecast I've found that is consistantly accurate for this area

Nothing worse than sitting on freezing cold leather, can anyone say the "H" word ?

Your butt is worth it - don't short change your butt - and I mean that in the kindest, most inoffensive way possible ;-)

it needs a tire rotation and an oil change...then i'd have to get her a rental car while i take the jeep cuz although she can drive stick, i dont want to lend her my car...

too much moolah involved for a one night stay in tahoe.
*sigh*

although yesterday my mom was tooling around in my S4 in Truckee. soooo... if you see a white haired hawaiian woman driving a modded Nogaro S4 w/ work wheels... that would be my mom. she likes driving my car. says it has great "pick up and go!" hehehe...

Rather let the rental people clean it up and deal with rock chips, etc.

she doesn't have mad skilz... but she did put up w/ raising and trusting me for 35 years. so i figure she's good. my *real* worry is my wife driving the S4, but that's another story ;). (when we were still dating, she totalled my old Ford Bronco II in a snowstorm!)

50's always been my backup route when 80 gets clogged. I don't like 88 and 89 during storms

These are my choices:

Alpine - $30 ea.
Heavenly - $45 ea.
Kirkwood - $40 ea.
Northstar - $45 ea.
Squaw - $45 ea.

But I think we can do Sierra with the NorthStar tickets, with a bonus of an $8 meal voucher when used on Sierra. Let me know ASAP if you and Dave wanna do Sierra Saturday.

Same thing when my dad drives my car (which isn't often). But it's got Tracksports and DTMs. When I see older people driving fixed up rides, can't help but think that it's their kid's car.

Are u from Hawaii or grew up here? I have family there too...

I'll head up too, with Fred. We'll hijack his family's SUV and leave the Audi's behind... haha...

JUST got back from 4 days of fresh powder at Winter Park/ Mary Jane.. well, still in Denver till Jan 2nd.... can't wait to hit Tahoe up this season!
