They were in Vallejo (Hunter's Hill) last week.
Radar detectors can't warn you about Lidar. First ticket in 13 yrs.

In our other vehicles, you know when you've hit 80. The A3 moves right along at 85 without you realizing that you're driving that fast. Of course, this was one of the rare days when it wasn't misfiring.

I'm really getting sick of my LE-30 going off here everyday. Nobody uses lidar in norcal...

well, guess they are now.

Lidar on a motorcycle unit; motorcycle unit pulls the vehicle over; car unit (or two in my case) pulls up to write out the ticket; allows the motorcycle unit to go after another. Total of one motorcycle and four cars this morning.
My husband got a ticket last week on Hunter's Hill for 78. He swears he wasn't going over 70 because he was in the middle of pack of cars and the silver Mercedes flying by him in the the number 1 lane was who they wanted. He was driving the truck, which has a cap on it and was the tallest vehicle in the pack. That one he'll fight.
I was definitely speeding, although I did slam on the brakes so I was written up for 83 and not the 90 I was cruising along at.

A3 is really too smooth. I cruising at 90 without even knowing it. Scary........

I've heard good things about them.

and I have three other vehicles that I drive. Cost prohibitive to buy a unit for each vehicle -- one is the beater car.
