A message has been posted inviting Audiers to participate in a car "show" that allows on-site parking,
discounted passes, and a parade lap or two on the track. See this <a href="http://www.audizine.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=31459&FORUM_ID=60&CAT_ID=12&Topic_Title=ALMS%2DLaguna+Seca+%2E%2E%2E+Sept+7%2C +2003+info%2E%2E%2E&Forum_Title=2%2E+South+West">Audizine message</a>.

Also....

Usually, the Wednesday before Laguna Seca, cars from all classes are brought for a noontime spin
around the oval park in front of the Fairmont Hotel in San José. Posters are passed out for
autographs, and the cars are available for inspection and pictures. I haven't confirmed this
date yet, but I have an email in to ALMS, and I will and post info here.

Let's get the word out to as many auto enthusiasts, radio stations, and newspapers as possible, to
build up attendance and help the league grow.

At the San Jose event in 2001, met Tom Kristensen and Jan Magnussen for the first time (Tom signed my
Audi manual "you bought the best!"). The next year, I had a couple of long conversations
with Johnny Herbert. My pictures and movies are <A HREF="http://sonolithics.com/pics">here</A> (scroll down).

Also note that the next race (8/17 at Mosport) and the <a href="http://americanlemans.com/schedule/monterey.asp">Monterey race (Sept 7)</a> will be <A HREF="http://americanlemans.com/schedule/schedule.asp">airing on NBC</A> on Sundays.
Other races will be on Speed's cable-only channel.

This could be you and your car on the track:
