I've been talking about doing this for a long time, and I finally got around to talking to the people at Speedring about setting up a race event and GTG. We're going to try and coordinate it as a competition with some other local car clubs. The date will be Sunday November 24th and it usually lasts from 3:30 to around 7 pm. If we get more people he will extend the format and everyone will get more racing time. Cost is $85. Details are as follows:

Format will be very similar to the Rookie Heats Competions listed on their website http://www.speedring-kartracing.com/launch/index2.html Click under individual racing and then Rookie heats.

"As of now, it is a 30 driver maximum; however I can extend it providing that there is enough demand and I have enough notice to format the race and time for the day for I will need more time if there is to be more drivers. P.S. If anyone would like to come and try it out first, have them contact me and I will take care of them."

Also, anyone who participates gets a 2 for 1 pass for regular practice($25 value) and he said he will give a lesson to anyone who wants to practice in the week before the race.
