I am going to be in Monterey for business the following Monday but figured I would fly somewhere into Norcal on Saturday and see if I can find someone that will let me crash at their place or at least let me bum a ride to the race and drop me off at the Monterey Marriott afterwards. Also if someone can tell me a decent hotel to crash out in the area so I can meet up with a group that's going to head down there.

I'm thinking of having a BBQ and beer-fest on Saturday, then driving down to Monterey on Sunday. I'm pretty sure that there will be a caravan on Sunday morning.

Vtec-Killer's father passed last weekend. I'm attending services on Sat. & Monday per his request. The GF has been allocated the other time slots. Sorry guys! :-(
