How's this for the next A6 get-together?
<b>Monterey Le Mans!</b>
<i>ALMS races at Laguna Seca Raceway, September 22 (Sunday)</i>
* Caravan down from S. San Jose to Monterey
* Park on-site (somewhere between turns 2 and 5) with an informal Euro car "show"...
* Get 2 people admitted for &#36;40, including a parade lap (after races, I believe), and paddock access.
We would meet in South San Jose, and caravan down... I know a great route down that is very fun and usually deserted -- <a href="http://forums.audiworld.com/a6/msgs/83273.phtml">Uvas Road to 152 to Hwy 1</a>.
<a href="http://www.evite.com/junk@aedon.com/lagunaseca2002">Invitation to the "car show"</a>... use this link to sign up.
<i>(Note: if you received an email invitation, your email address is already in the database, and it will reject if you use that one. Either use another email address, or use the link to the invitation that you received by email, or send an email to <a href="mailto:junk@aedon.com">junk@aedon.com</a> asking how to sign up.</i>

Last race, Pirro was knocked unconcious in a crash, but is OK it seems. The Sonoma race was full of spins, including a photo finish, with Audi crossing the finish line backwards in a spin! The French 24 Hours of Le Mans was historic, a 1-2-3 Audi finish, with the same trio of drivers winning for the third year in a row, a first for Le Mans.
