They're gonna order a new seat frame/bracket under warranty for my rocking chair of a driver's seat.

Customer service was superb--almost kiss-ass. :o)

They just couldn't get my turbo replaced the last time I was in. Vincent, lots of people get their cars serviced just fine at Anderson Behel. It is unfortunate that you have not had stellar service from them as I have.

if its only service. Changing oil, pads. Routine stuff. Heck, even Taner gets his car serviced at AB with no problems as I had before the incident. It's their unwillingness to work with a customer when it comes to warranty work that gets to me.

I was up front about my mods, the car was brought in with the chip in and they know about it. They had no gripes with it up until I picked up the car and had the CE light go off less than 10 mins of picking up the car. Decided it was the MAF and ordered up the part. So far so good. It was when they put the part in ( 2 months later BTW, George had FORGOTTEN he had to order the part for me ) that they did an about face and told me it was not the MAF but something else.

Long story short, they wanted to charge me $1500 do put my stock downpipes back in to "diagnose" the problem. I refused. Bought a new MAF, installed it myself and the CE light went away.

Draw your own conclusions. I offered to pay for the MAF and labour up front so that they can cover their costs if AOA doesn't reimburse them for the warranty. But the shop foreman didn't even want to listen to anything I had to say. He kept insisting I had my cats hollowed out because he can see them but my O2 sensors are not reading right. He apparently DID NOT know the S4 had 4 cats. And this is the shop FOREMAN.

Needless to say, Geordie, who was my salesman (he is a great guy), got a earful from me but there was nothing he could have done anyway. Just needed to rant to someone who works there.

So I don't take my car to AB to get serviced anymore. And my car is out of warranty so I don't have to worry about that anymore either. You can be sure AB is not getting any more money from me, even if I win the lottery next week and they had the only GT2 left in the whole world. BTW, they want to charge 20K over msrp for an RS6 ordered.

RANT OFF.

I have had decent luck with AB and they are by no means the closest. Carlsen is a rock throw from my office but I prefer to deal with George and only George..
