View Full Version : Ugh. Still haven't sold the TT. Plus, being parked on the street here in

San Francisco, it's getting covered in tree sap. It's suffering hard water stains no matter how much Zymöl I layer on it. Some inconsiderate bastidge sat on my car behind the driver's side door and slid away, leaving deep scratches in the "willing to show everything" Brilliant Black Clearcoat paint. And, oh yeah, there are two nasty door dings on the passenger side now. Let's not forget the parallel parkers from the Helen Keller School of Driving who seem to use other cars bumpers to know when to stop moving forward or backward.

The payments of $629 a month coupled with the extreme costs of insurance in the Bay Area and the fact that I have to move the car across the street 4 nights a week for street cleaning are killing me. What do I have to do to sell this car (1) to someone who will be able to enjoy it and (2) keep it from being destroyed?

That's almost the worst part: watching this beautiful car being destroyed before my eyes.

Took a job with Apple (the only job that could actually get me to move to CA). I live in the city, but will prebably head to the n. peninsula when our lease is up. What are you doing here? How long have you been here?

I only have street parking too. What part of the city are you in?

I'm working for Avaya supporting the Cajun P882 switches at a Service Provider here in Sac. I didn't want to move, but 4 months without a job was too much...

....as long as it's a fair deal. I just helped a good friend sell a 94 Mercedes.

I got laid off, so I got the time. And a private garage. And I'm in Orinda, a pricey-German-car-friendly community.

E-mail me, if interested in discussing. If not, I still have some suggestions for you that may be helpful.

Good luck, either way.
