After getting a bazillion results in the search, I got lazy :). Basically, I've got a big head (hat size 7 1/2 to 8 1/2 depending on the hat) and want to buy from a local a place so that I can make sure it fits. I'm planning to use it at the driving school at Sears Point, er, Infineon, in November and some karting, too.

Thanks!

PS Just got to the end of Evowerks. There was a sweet S4 sedan that was repainted in a burnt metallic orange with the interior redone in the same color, too.

Also stopped by Speedring karting in Santa Clara because they were open and I wanted to check it out. Unfortunately, their helmet selection is only two or three models and not all the sizes.

Found a website for a place called "helmet city" in oakland that might have a good selection. I'll check to Frey Racing next Saturday.

Scott(?) at Frey said the nearest place you can try auto helmets on is at Bell Motorsports in Oakland. Frey's got a great selection of Bell helmets, and then good number of Bieffe helmets. Lots of parts for race cars, too. Good shop!
