So far, the dates that are being considered are Saturday, Aug. 10th or Sunday Aug. 11th. This WILL NOT be a sanctioned Nor-Cal Audi Club event, due to the altercation we had on the Marin drive earlier this year. Those on the NCAC mailing list will receive an e-mail from the club, but it WILL NOT be a club event.

That being said, almost everything regarding the drive will remain the same except for the starting point in Livermore. I need to find another place for us to meet because IIRC, "Audiablo" failed to inform the winery we were coming again last year & they weren't too happy with us just "showing up". I'll let you know the new place when I find it.

Thoughts/concerns?

Like meet at 9 somewhere. Lunch at like 12:30. Drive until like 5-6? Then Dinner?

The route is pretty damn long, but I can see that you're trying to make it more worth your while to come down here... ;-P

anyway, so why not make it really worth it.

That shouldn't be too hard (saying this not looking at a map), I'll just have to work a way to make it all go in one single direction. The added section still wouldn't be too long Bryce (I'm only thinking the other side of the freeway that has some wide open stuff).

Plus, I'm not trying to give up my "backyard" roads to you guys. Wormie knows where I mean (keep your mouth shut!!!) Time to re-scout the Tri-Valley, just for Bryce.

Who knew the Audi folk would be asking me to leave the S4 at home ;o) Can't bring it anytime soon, I'm afraid, baby needs a new piston....

You can ask Taner about it though - although even running against him at the time it was already hurting (belching black smoke and short-shifting)...
