I had an interesting event occur today. <p>I was collecting data on my car for my K04 software early today. At one point, I launched the car very hard off the line in first gear (in the rain no less, I have no idea of the rpm - I never look I go by sound). As a result of the launch, my CD changer was ripped from the bottom of the deck. All 3 of the plastic inserts were cleanly yanked out of their respective holes in the deck. I was (and still am) stunned. Luckly, the changer suffered no ill effects as I had a box, a coat and a large beach towel in the trunk which cushioned the landing.<p>Looks like I'm gonna need to figure out a more secure way to mount this puppy if I plan on future hasty 1st gear departures. This turbo ought to make for some interesting 60' times.<p>Guys (and gals), I'm not yankin' your chain... it really did happen!
