There is to much info. I spent 1/2 hour already and still havn't got any good info. For those of you who have the A pillar mount, do you have any pics? Vendor info etc. would be appreciated.
Thanks
RobS (1.8TQSMNBG(no boost gage))

Someone posted that Nopi sells a custom A-pillar pod for the A4 for about $22?
I borrowed a A-pillar pod from a friend just to see what it would look like... it looked really sporty alright. But then, I looked in the rear view mirror. It reminded me that I have a 4 door sport sedan. Then, it really looked out of place. That's my opinion, of course.
Tonite... I should be putting a boost gauge up on the console - where the blanks used to be! :)
Dremel at hand.... ready to rock!
Cris
I just placed an order for a boost gauge and a oil pressure gauge.. For those interested, I purchased the HKS gauges, which I think will fit nicely in the storage compartment on the dash.. The gauges are 46mm which I think is small enough to fit two gauges in the spot...
Dmak 1.8TQMS

I was thinking of going with a of HKS gauges (46mm)... but at ~$100+ a gauge?
You will still need to do some cutting/custom fab. to put them it. I must admit, it will probably be *a little* easier then my project.
Now, I would really love to have the GReddy boost gauge... from ~15psi to 20psi... they even have a redline!
Cris

I have an Apex'i boost gauge mounted on my A-pillar. I had to custom the fit because I couldn't find one that fitted the A4. I think I used a pillar mount from an Integra, and then recarpeted my whole A pillar to match the rest of the car. I have a photo of it, but it's kinda blurry....but just like the rest of my photos...need to be scanned...if you need to know info, you can email me.

If one is to get a Japanese made Boost Guage, one should be getting either the latest hot ones from Japan... SARD or the Apex'i EL series Boost Guage..... HKS Greddy..... they are totally out of date, no style in them anymore.....
Hey not trying to start anything here!
