From my experience Momentum Audi has two things going for it. They are aggressive in their pricing. Now bear in mind that they only have one competitor in Houston, so aggressive is a relative term. But, the salesman I dealt with, Ken Simon, is very customer service oriented and he should be able to get you the best price in town. Momentum is a large well funded multi-marque company, they probably get better pricing from Audi than the other dealer in town if that is possible. I do know that they always have more cars on the ground than the other dealer.

The other thing Momentum has going for them is a very customer service oriented Service Advisor, Roy Mann. I have been very pleased in my dealings with him. Feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions

I had horrible experiences at DonMcGill, although others havent. I had also heard bad things about Mohan, now Momentum. I ended up ordering from Rod East in San Antonio, they offered me 5% over invoice on a 2000 1.8T. I wait for it to arrive sometime in late december or early January. My salesman Pat Landrum also sold to 2 or 3 others in Houston recently who also were disappointed in Houston dealerships...

They are great, even though my sales guy left a while ago, the others have helped me out alot. Roy Mann always caters to what I need, even if the problem is small or big.

I am going through this right now. I went to both dealerships in town. Momentum offered me $850 off MSRP on a 1.8TQMSX, where as Don McGill gave me 5% over invoince. Don McGill it is...I pick up my Silver A4 hopefully next week.

Don McGill is also the largest dealer for A4's in Texas per the a July letter from the Audi regional manager. For what is worth.

, I also dealt with Kent Simon who was terrific.
We set up an appointment one saturday morning (about a month ago) to come look at the car, he gave me a good price on a 99 A4 2.8QMS and we reached an agreement over the phone, picked up the car that same afternoon.
I guess I enjoyed dealing with him because he is an Audi enthusiast, we talked about chips and many more mod's..
At the end of the deal, he gave me a ride in his S4,that he plans on chipping soon...
In addition, Roy Mann has been very pleasing to deal with as their service advisor.

cheers,

Also in July the sales manager and two sales people left Don Mcgill and went to work at Momentum. From the time Momentum took over their Audi inventory has vastly increased. And I believe that in October they were the #1 volume Audi dealer in their three state region, for what it's worth.

Must be why he showed the July memo.

Water under the bridge I guess, I went with who was cheapest. Maybe because I went to Momentum to haggle the price where as McGill I did it all over the phone. I am 23, wonder if that played a part in it. Not sure, but thanks for the update.
