Who's your dealer, Christopher, and how's he know what the price will be? The dealers I've talked to in the DC area are generally in the dark.

You forgot we also have a non-turbo 1.8, which make it three 1.8s, two turbos and one normally-aspirated.

If there is a five thousand dollar increase, what's the point? Wouldn't we just get rid of the 2.8? I don't think that is feasible of Audi to mark up that high for 30 more horsepower

The price of a 1.8TQ is 60,000 and 2.8 is 83,000 here. As I said, I'm in Australia.
