The little cigarette compartment in my car only opens when I push on the left side of the release tab. How can I fix it so it'll open regardless of what part of the tab I push ?

Seriously, I don't know what you mean by "cigarette compartment". I figure if you meant cigarette lighter, you'd say so. And if you meant ash tray, I assume you'd say ash tray. Besides, neither of those has what I would call a "release tab". So while I was having a little fun in the subject heading, fact is I honestly don't know what you're referring to. And I have a 99.5 without the cold weather package.
