Anyone have long-term experience with Garrett's Tip chip? Any problems with the torque converter? Does the chip reduce the shift delay for both auto and manual modes or just manual? I've heard that Garrett also offers a 1.1 bar turbo chip good for and additional 8hp/10ft-lb over the 1.0 bar - anyone have this beast?

There is a Audi Dealer in Australia that has fitted Tip chips, i do not think its the Garret, but has apparently a few failed transmissions on his hands.<br>I have no figures or fatcs to support this, just word or mouth.
