Dealer in LA is quoting invoice + $500 for an '04 1.8T CVT. No options - this is a bone stock car. Is this a good deal in this market? Is there still factory money out there?
Thanks in advance.

LesM 12-20-2003, 04:30 PM The car is probably hard to sell. You might actually get closer to invoice. Just make an offer for invoice price, and see how the salesman reacts. On the other hand, you might need the salesman to help out if you have service problems, so squeezing is not always the right thing to do. I have had salesmen go to bat for me in the past.
