First of all I want to thank Keith Owes from the NYC Metro A4 group for organizing this event and also to our gracious hosts @ Bellavia Audi for their hospitality...everything was great!

I put together a quick-and-dirty website with the pictures I took from the event. Some A4 shots, pictures of a sweet Nogaro Blue S4 and also some engine shots of the PES supercharged Passat (PES project car).

At least that's the wheel I think it is. I'm interested in possibly buying these...but would like to see them on a car...this might be a good opportunity.

Thanks,

James R.

In response to Andy's attendance call for the Bellavia meeting. Anyway, I'll try to post some pics on a webpage soon.

...and he explained to me that the additional light he had installed are actually classified as "driving" lights, not fog lights...I believe he said that they are PIAA units, not sure which model. He installed them for additional illumination of the road at night as a supplement to his normal headlights. He mentioned driving the car often on unlit back roads and the driving lights helped him and his wife see better at night.

Hopefully Al will jump into the thread here and give more info.

The piaa driving lights are the 1000x platinum series super white model. They throw out an additional 48,000 candlepower. They fill in the jagged horizontal light pattern, provide alot more light and they give great illumination on both sides of the car. They are currently wired together with the stock fog lights. I guess you can install them in the fog light position, but, you'd probably have to make up a black plastic piece for the trim. They aren't the same shape as the stock fog lights. There are tons of deer on the Palisades Parkway. If i can't see them, i'm going to hit them. True, you can't help it when they run into the side of your car, but, seeing them first helps me alot. Appearance wise, the shape of the lights coincides with the rest of the car, they're really not that bad. Oh, and they are aimed properly. Eric of Cartronics (New Milford, Conn) did the instal for me
