...that looked similar to the Audi 90. What could it have been? I would guess that it is less than 10 years old.

I saw one in Houston a few weeks ago. I think some people have bought them overseas and then brought them in to the U.S. It freaked me out at first because I know Audi isn't selling them in the States.

Thanks for posting the picture. It sure brought back some memories.

I had a '90 and a '91 Coupe Q, both in pearl white. The '90 was the first pearl white car I ever saw. They're common now, but I think Audi had them first. When I traded in the second one for a '94 90 Q with the then-brand new V6 12v, I liked the Speedlines from the Coupe so much that I had the dealer trade wheels for me.

The whole time I owned the two Coupes I kept dreaming of the S2, which Audi kept saying they were going to import but never did. It was the Coupe body with the 20v 5 cylinder, turbo engine that was putting out (if I recall correctly) around 220 hp. That would have been my dream car.

I've had a few other Quattro's since then, but I finally got one with almost enough power, my brand new, pearl white S4. I wish they'd come out with a 2 door hatchback like the old Coupe. I'd buy one a heartbeat. It was great for hauling around my bike and other junk. Almost like a station wagon, but much sportier.
