Lucas,<p>I did not find your email, but read your posts yesterday about the heat probs on the 1.8T. I believe you are on the right track and please share your experiences.<p>There is one thing that sounds very promising to me and you did not mention (I think). Christian Long suggested to me (and he did it) to cut vents into the wheel well behind the intercooler. That would allow a nice exit patch for all the air that comes in through the lower front grille.<p>This sends chills down my spine (What?! Cut My Car?!), but I am thinking about getting some opinions from body shops and maybe have it done. How does it sound to you?<p>See ya!

<br>Buy some louvers, they can be bought in strips 4" wide, use a 3" hole saw, watch out for the back side of the cooler,bingo your done. Then add the MTM airscoop to the front corner. Then you can reroute the windshield washer line put water in it and the best I've heard of is to modulate with turbo boost to spray on your cooler. It's already being done. See ya.

I have both Left & Right Ducts ordered from Hoppen motorsports, and yes I Will Cut the inner wheel guard and install louvre/Vents.<br>As For Sprayning the Intercooler, I can't as the Car would not then pass inspection at Track events.<br>Ned has been very helpful in suggestions in this area.<br>I wonder if the S4 comes with a vented bonnet? It must really get hot in one of those.
