I need as many opinions as I can get! I can get a 99.5 in the color I want with the interior I want and a whole bunch of options (bose, cd changer, sport pack, cold weather, moonroof, convenience pack) at invoice. This works out to be about the same price as a '00 with the options I would actually order in the color combos I want. I can get the 99.5 now since it is on the lot. The '00 might be available within a week or two from another dealer or I might have to wait the three months it takes to order one. There are things about the '00 that I like: in-dash cd, new color instruments, xenon's. Are there physical differences that I am not aware of or any other major differences i should consider? ALSO, CAN I GET BELOW INVOICE FOR THE 99.5? HOW MUCH? I know this was long. Thanks for the help.

Also, if it was me, I'd rather pay $x for the options I want that pay the same $x for a collection of options that I wasn't really looking for. The real question I think is whether or not you can afford to wait.

Get exactly what you want. Long after you have forgotten what you paid for your car . . . you will still be driving it. If you have the luxury of waiting, it will be worth it.

Check the used car price guides for the difference one year makes in resale value and you'll see why. If, you plan to keep it a long time and you can get what you want, then may as well take the older one and save the bucks.
