My V1 came today. I got one of the returned ones for $40 off. The unit is PERFECT and didn't even have fingerprints! Thanks Christian!! I also got the concealed display but haven't had a chance to mount it yet. I hard wired it to the fuse box using the empty fuse slot on the left fourth from the bottom.<p>I need some advice as to where to mount it. I know where you are SUPPOSED to put it, but I would rather give up range for stealth. Right now I have it suction cupped on the far left of the windshield right up against the A-Pilar. The unit is pointing directly ahead by tilting slightly to adjust for the windsheld curvature. Has anyone found a way to use the visor clip that doesn't require the visor to be angled down?<p>Where else can I put it? Overhead to the left/right of the mirror? I can tell when anyone has a detector... don't you think a cop could tell from a distance too?<p>I can't comment on its performance yet as I have used it for about five minutes. However, I can say that the direction arrows are amazing. If the threat is ahead I don't waist any time looking for a cop behind me.<p>David

I have had one for several years now. Mount it either directly under or to the right of the RV mirro using suction cup mounts. Haven't had a problem yet in this time with the fuzz; then again, I also have a CB so get advance warning that way.<br>Suggest checking archive for ways to inatall a power lead directly from the fusebox; having that coiled cord run down to the cig lighter is a real PITA.
