On their website they call it a bypass valve , but then in their explanation, they reference blow off valve too. I don't know if it's a hybrid of some sort, but it is beautifully crafted out of aluminum and looks pretty heavy duty

Anyway, it may be my imagination, but the car feels much smoother, i have both the tip and engine chip by GIAC....

The car runs great and now much smoother, and the tip chip really makes the car fun to drive..
