You need to get your original 2.8 replaced with a new car. This is not fair to you, in my opinion.

Think about this: Not everyBODY has time to drive to the dealer back and forth just try to get some problems (which is not even caused by YOU) fixed.

This is so ridiculous. I'm sorry that this is happening to you.

This should not be difficult to do:

Park your 99.5 A4 2.8 right next to a brand new 99.5 A4 2.8 from the dealer lot.

!!! Compare these 2 cars Side by Side !!!

Start the engine and let them idle for a while.
Get the Audi rep and the dealer owner to get into both cars and compare the vibration level.

Now...somebody should be able to tell the difference.

Have you ever tried this?

I did try to get the Audi rep to compare mine and a new one side by side. He admitted mine vibrates excessively at first but then his argument was that they all vibrate, some more than others and I just happen to get one that vibrates more. Not exactly a valid argument...

I just faxed in my pre-order info, and according to the lady who answered the phone, I got the last set. Woohoo!

Anybody wanna buy a set of immaculate Bosch Euro glass headlights and corners?

I'll just check the classifieds first...
