I looked all over (under?) the hat shelf, there's just no good place to mount this bracket. The only flat place is forward near the back seat, but you have to lean half way into the trunk to access the changer. I toyed with the idea of mounting it backwards, and changing cds by folding down the seat, but that just won't work either. The right angle bracket that come with it doesn't mount all the way to the bottom of the changer, so it has to sit "in" something, like maybe the tool and jack area if you move them. But, the changer is too big to fit there. I'd advise anyone who is ordering a changer for a delta radio to make sure they send the 8D5 051 113 bracket, instead of the 8A0 051 324 bracket.

I believe the posts from those who did drill were fairly recent...definitely within the 10 pages of the current forum.

My 00 2.8 Avant is stalled at the Boston port in carrier release status since 10/26. The dealer tells me that this means the car has passed inspection and is only waiting to be put on a truck. Any guess as to how much longer I will have to wait?
