Just saw 'The Insider' today. Russell Crowe drove a silver A4, which looked like a 1998-98.5 model (the badge was up top, the reverse lights were white) but that part of the movie was set around 1996. For those of you who saw the movie... was that model available for the time depicted in that part of the movie, or did they just screw up in the selection of the model year of the car (especially considering this was supposed to be a true story)? Also, was this a product placement, or did the actual person own an A4?
