I dont think it can be done as easy as before. Drilling out the tabs for the insert is easy but breaking it into little peices and getting them out is going to be the hard part. If you look at the turn signal bulb, there is this plastic housing over it which is going to make it almost impossible to get to the amber insert with any sort of tools. I had the whole light off the car and looked at it every which way and I really dont see how it can be done unless you take the whole thing apart which really cant be done easy.

IMO it's not worth it, just wait and get the euro housings if the amber insert really bothers you.
