I've ordered a 2002 CVT w/ sunroof, sport package and metallic paint and wanted to see what kind of price people are paying for a comperable car--especially in the Texas/Oklahoma/Louisiana area. Is the economy giving any kind of leverage? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks. I feel a little strange contacting someone directly, but if Binyan happens to read this I think we may be in the same area and talking to the same dealers. Curious to compare notes.

You could try Joe Knapp at Advantage Audi in Houston, 281/493-1000. I don't know anything about '02 pricing though.

I'm too ordered a 2002 CVT with sunroof and metallic paint, unfortunately I didn't order the sports package. damn, Damn, DAMN! I have never seen it up close didn't know that I would like the wheels like I do. I could care less about a stiffer suspension. Anyway I'm dealing with the Audi Store, and my deal is for $1500 over invoice. So far the sales experience has been great although people warn me that the service sucks. I'll just have to see. If it does suck then I'll be making the trip down to Park Place. I hear they opened a new service facility anyway.

When my lease is up on my Integra, I'll be going through him too for a new A4. Been chatting with him for over 9 months now about the S4 and '02 A4. I test drove the '01 A4 and S4 several times, two of which were without him. He's always been real cool.

about to pull the trigger on a new silver 01 a4 1.8T quattro (celebration, sports, cold) for $500 over invoice. dealer quoted me a finance rate of 5.49%for 60 mos, down from 6.5% a day ago. its the end of the month and the dealer is itching to move, any advice on whether i should bite my tongue and wait a few more days?
