I've tried rent.com and apartmentfinder.com someone suggested to try Sistrunk and NW 5th Court but I can't find any info online about either one. I'll be down there first week of september if that helps...

you can take a look at Residences at Bayview. It's right on US-1 right at the Pompano/FLL line. It's a new building complex ~ 3 yrs old. Not sure about availability, but a 2bdrm there start just shy of 1500/mo with garage parking, pool, gym, etc.

Like the others are saying though.. it's getting tough to find anything in that price range & in a decent neighorhood. Esp when you have less ppl buying due to increased interest rate.
