Quite literally, if they bring that car to the US, it will be my next car. 265hp/258ftlbs, warrenty, 2800lbs...28mpg...heck freaking ya! Nimrod (Jody) 08-02-2006, 05:22 AM approved, they're not going to do it for a car that will sell in far lower numbers. According to Automotive News, Audi won't sell the S3 in the United States any time soon, as Americans aren't too keen on three-door hatches. However, a five-door S3 could eventually be offered stateside, according to the trade publication. However, no timeframe was given. Was still a great bang for the buck when I got it 13 months ago at 47k with CPO and extended maintenance and the condition it's in. AutoXJunkie (Justin) 08-02-2006, 09:55 AM either way, Audi needs to rethink a few things. I don't really understand from a drivetrain stand point of having hardware on a "limited production"/"uber-priced" model that you can just pick up from APR and have your 2.0T equivilent of that on the "S". Having the 2.7Bi-Turbo on the B5 S4 was where it's at...impossible to recreate through a 1.8T |
