i have been meaning to do it for a while and Shawn let me borrow his compression tool <thanks>. here are the numbers:
Cyl 1: 190
Cyl 2: 190
Cyl 3: 196
Cyl 4: 192

They all seem pretty good, i don't know what compression tolerances should be for this engine, i think 10%. I ran some Delvac Diesel Mobil 1 15w-40 last oil change since it has lots of detergants to help clean things out. Some guys on the A4 forum have used it as well, seems to be a good cheap way to flush the engine.

The wear limit is : 108.77psi (7.5 bar)

The Range for Normal opperation is : 130.5psi to 203.5psi (9-14 bar) with a max differential between cylinders of 43.5psi (3 bar)
