I successfully installed K04 turbo this past saturday!!! I had a friend, who does a lot of turbo work on his biturbo Nissan 300ZX (and other turbo cars), do the work, and I have to give him all the credit. We started at 9am and wrapped up at 6pm, with a number of breaks because of the heat. All in all, not a bad days work.

The car runs great. I'm still running stock programming, so I can't say much about the performance yet. I plan on going with REVO soon, after I break in the new turbo for a little while.

Yes, I will have a CVT transmission with K04 turbo, TT225 fuel injectors with REVO programming. I understand that if i'm not careful I could easily tear up the transmission with this setup. When I setup the REVO programming, I plan on limiting the boost pressure to about 12 psi, that will limit the torque to below 220 ft.lbs, but I will still have access to the full HP gains at high rpm. I should be able to get ~235 HP at 6000 rpm, and since I have a CVT transmission, I will be able to keep the engine pegged at 6000 rpm. The car will be acceptably quick (for me), but it certainly will drive differently than the high torque quattro audi's.
