not...i just changed the oil and about to change the spark plugs soon. i just want the stupid service light to go off? does anyone know how to take it off? i tried the way we do it at toyota by just pushing the odometer knob in when starting the car but it did not work lol..it was worth a try

Read the manual, many Audis tell how to reset the service light in the manual. But others do require a vagcom to do it.
