Would anyone be interested in meeting up tom. in the downtown area? I have not been able to really meet up with any other audi members and would like to try and get a weekly meet up and going.

I was trying to set it up for tom, in the Holihans parking lot--behind at least-- for a little meet and greet sorta thing. Kinda hoped to meet some of people with similar cars and stuff and maybe same interests.

We used to meet at the Hops on University every thursday night...we had this tradition going on for about 4 years, then Hops went out of business about 9 months ago, and we never found a place to resume the tradition. We would typically get about 10-15 folks out every night.

Good news is that our old favorite spot is reopening soon....as a Holihans. So some of us were talking about starting up the weekly GTGs at Holihans on University.

a place more centric would make it easier to drive in from clermont. blue martini is awesome (for many reasons). and b/c it's at the mall at millenia there is plenty of parking and it is just off of I-4, making the trip all-highway and fun....for everyone

...lived over there. Of our hard core group, 90% of them live in the Winter Park/Oviedo/Longwood/East Orlando areas.

So it is a question of where to meet to get the most people to come out. Some of us were just talking last week about meeting at Old Germany in Winter Park on Thursdays for the next couple of times and see how the turn out is.

dress enough for work. Don't want to have to dress to gtg with Audi folks, except for the XMas party maybe.

Well this is just an informal GTG. I picked this spot because its close to downtown so we can cruise, its right off the 408 if you take bumby and it has a gigantic parking lot behind. It is also off of colonial which is easy access from university(UCF) area and I-4--colonial exit.

The food is good there too if ya hungry.

Just trying to get some people together--i will move it back to 9.00 p.m for all of us who have to work early..

Well sort of---but hey next week our four people will become eight people and so on and so on. Us Audi owners older and younger should be able to come together! We have a great car which is far from the normal "ricer" guys, and we have to show them if nothing else we do have the elite membership and club... Maybe we can knock some sense in them and have them turn to the german market.

To John and John who showed up, thanks so much--it shows heart and i am glad motivation still lives in ya. Hope to see more next week, I hope Christian you feel better and that rib heals.

so the full force of the fall was absorbed by ribs, and the doc said it is mostly likely fractured and I will just have to live with the pain for 4 weeks.
