I hear they only do them for groups... Is it worth going?

All I have planned for 6 days is Nurburging, which is 2 hours West of Frankfurt, and I hear the Audi factory is 2 hours east of Frankfurt.

Worth a few hour drive to see? What else to do when over there?

Cool tour, but once you have seen an automotive factory, you have seen them all no matter if it is Honda or Porsche. Same lines, same quality infrastructure (well, maybe not for the Cayenne), same paint process. But the Audi factory museum is quite cool, and I highly recommend it.

electro magnetic (or some other nifty bonding process). I'm probably wrong but I thought I read/heard something about that.

I love my Honda, but the paint SUCKS compared to VW/Audi.

Hadley and I were barely walking due to an all night bender with the other techs, so a lot of the details of the tour are fuzzy...

Audi is a ways away.. So if it is nothing special, I'd rather do the P and MB museums and tours. I really just want to see a running cut-a-way 911. woot.

Wanna go? Thanksgiving is best when you tell yourself thank-you in a country that doesn't celebrate it. :-)

I hear hangovers are less there.

After I hung up with you tonight, I starting thinking about it more and more. Maybe I could swing it, if not, lets do the January trip to England.

I recently went to the BMW plant in Germany, it was an amazing experience.
