Would really like to find a complex that is trying to find renters since that is probably the best way to find a good apartment at a good price.

But have you checked the prices on the places OUT of the UCF area? I'm talking closers down to 436? THere is a real nice place where I lived for a year behind hooters on 436. I lived there in 02-03 and had their small 1 bed for high $600 I believe, then ther was a larger 1 for mid $700, then the 2 beds in the $1000'ish. Prices don't necessarily always go up either, so they may be similar. That's still within 10 miles too.

House and condo rentals are the only way to go. I stopped renting apartments and switched to houses/condos when I was in school, and was much much happier.
