I was picking up 408 from UCF through research park. I stopped at the Challenger Blvd light from Discovery ready to turn left. Parked in the lane next to me is a bright and shiney 944 (non turbo). I thought to myself, "nah, i really dont feel like racing anybody. However, that section of research park contains the only curvy roads in the vicinity of UCF, and since i drive it pretty much every day to and from work it is a tradition to have fun.
Well that is how it started. I was just getting ready for my 60-80 MPH sprint through that section, and the 944 decided to tag along. He started comming up behind me so i said screw it. I havent raced anyone since i bought the car, and shoot i'm in my territory.
So we went at it. I stayed in front of him through the quick Right-Left section that comes right up to a nice straight away. Got to the straight and he was at my door (75-80). That is when i saw it. Un-marked cruiser sitting on the opposite side of the road, waiting mercelously for speeders exiting 408 into research park.
Now, looking back i was thinking to myself how i have only seen 1 trooper ever sitting in that area since May. What the heck. And sure enough there he was.
As soon as I saw him, I killed it. The Porshe, however, put it to the floor. And the BMW 3-series that was behind me at the light decieded it was her turn with the 944 and they just continued on 408 going at it.
Luckilly the Cop didnt budge, or just didnt see us. Scared the crap out of me that is for sure. Once i finally get the balls to go at it, i come the closest to geting nailed i ever have.
