I know (think) Shawn was making the mute switches...but, I also would like advice on the install of the hard wire, etc.....
I hope this thing works, it was frickin expensive!

I have the remote display set up.....would your Mute switch work with that in place?
And how do you hook it up to the V1?

and not visible from behind either. I can show the easiest way to route the wires and the mute switch. Mine turned out really well.

On the Hardwired power supply. Does the Remote display have two Phone Jacks on the back of it? if so, you could just plug in the Mute switch to that one. I remember the V1 manual having a diagram showing the ways of connecting the remote display, V1, and power supplys...

I hard wired it directly to the Fuse box, ran the cord to the juction box I got from Valentine. Then fro there is has TWO out puts....One the radar it self and one to the Remote display.
Im sure I could figure away to hook it up using some stuff from RadioShack or something....Will look at it tomorrow. Thanks for the info...
