Got the car back. It was left in Winter Springs over the weekend, the window guy came today. When my mother opened the garage door and Mr. Safelite saw the window, my mother said he looked horrified and heartbroken. Then he started pointing out the dents on the hood, and sadly said (I like to think he said this choking back tears), "what a beautiful car..."

Anyway, I'm happy cause the new windshield has the rings on it, no cheap imitation parts for me! Now to get paintless dent removal, a nice detailing and vacuum, and it's back to normal.

I must be ghey, but when I was driving home tonight to Sarasota, I felt a little like crying.

I think I read somewhere that the paintless dent guys were somewhat concerned about working on aluminum cars, but in the end the dents can be popped out like regular steel.
