The oil light kept coming oil and the dealer said they didn't know what it was but the car seemed fine. Then BOOM.

I had to have the oil pump on Breeze's car replaced out of warranty due to an oil pressure light that would come on once in a great while...just like what the sludge notice says. Though I used Mobil 1 in that car, it had 3 years of regular dino oil before I bought it.

I actually can't remember if I paid for the oil pump or not....the guys might have done it as good will.....

if you can prove and show reciepts of the services being done at the recommended time and milage.... If the car was ever late or skipped a oil change, or the oil was not the right grade.... No warranty.....

? Is it dealer specific or do they all carry the same stuff?

I wonder if this is limited to longitudinal configurations?
