View Full Version : Why the oil sludge condition in the latest audi bulletin is important: IT KILLS YOUR CAR Greg PAW - MS 08-16-2004, 06:04 PM xpost with pictures of my car's internals after a bad case of he "slugies".

http://forums.audiworld.com/a4/msgs/2138794.phtml</a

mike*green 08-16-2004, 07:02 PM Greg PAW - MS 08-16-2004, 07:17 PM The oil light kept coming oil and the dealer said they didn't know what it was but the car seemed fine. Then BOOM. Longwolf (Christian) 08-17-2004, 05:28 AM I had to have the oil pump on Breeze's car replaced out of warranty due to an oil pressure light that would come on once in a great while...just like what the sludge notice says. Though I used Mobil 1 in that car, it had 3 years of regular dino oil before I bought it. I actually can't remember if I paid for the oil pump or not....the guys might have done it as good will..... If the car was ever late or skipped a oil change, or the oil was not the right grade.... No warranty..... Mexican Audi (Shane) 08-18-2004, 07:31 PM ? Is it dealer specific or do they all carry the same stuff? Mexican Audi (Shane) 08-18-2004, 07:34 PM I wonder if this is limited to longitudinal configurations? |
