Some people were complaining about the slow service, menu options, and other factors about the place.

What do you all think? Should we continue to meet there, or look for something more like what we had with Kelseys; wings, pizza, TVs, better beer specials, etc.

I think today for lunch I may go check out Gleason's Grill, which is a wings/burger type of joint that has a seperate room for clubs, and lots of TVs.

I still miss our old location at Kelseys....

They wanted $ for the meeting room, or a certain minimum bill...I think that would work except if you don't hit the $200 tab with a smaller group.

Their parking lot doesn't allow you to park in an open area (curbs all over) so you don't get to walk around all the cars and check them out. If that matters.

Is anything opening up in Kelsey's?

It's definately not Kelsey's. I would prefer something more along those lines.

Over the last month, I saw two different auto meetups at Mead Garden. There are picnic tables covered by a pavilion. Cars circle around in the shaded, wooded area which looks cool and would make a good club photo to send quattro quarterly. There's a grill. Bringing and sharing food would require more preparation, but creates friendship. Cost would be about the same. We could try it as a one-time event and then evaluate the outcome. Let me know if I should look into what reservation or permit is needed because it's a city park.

its on 436 by university. hot babes, plenty of beer, wings, tvs etc. and there's plenty of parking.

We have some members who bring their kids and wives, and the waitresses at that place will not make the wives/girlfriends/parents feel too comfortable.
