There was an earlier thread about Bond cars. I vaguely recall one Bond film with an Audi. Can anyone else remember? I think it was one of the ones from the 80's and I think the Audi was a 5000. It may not have been his "main" car in the movie. I don't even know if it was Moore, or the other fellow (Dalton?), or even Brosnan. There was a scene where 007/Audi go through an eastern European border checkpoint. Sorry that's all I remember.
BTW, my pick for next Bond car: Lotus Elise. 340R is too far out for 007.

He could have a Caterham Featherlight in the garage as a second car. What, ho!
BTW, this is off-topic (having to do with Audis in general but nothing to do with the A4), so I'm contradicting my own rules for forum usage.
...it was a V8. I think that was the movie where he had the Aston Martin w/skis. The Living Daylights?

I forget the name of the movie but it was in the scene where they shoot the military leader that they liberated/captured through this big pipeline out of an east bloc country (East Germany?)
Cool car. It was the first Audi I wanted.

I actually drove my friends TVR once. Very very nice.
Don't tell me youve ridden in one too...or I'll off myself.

I've not but read about them. Too bad they won't bring them here. They'd scare the sh*t out of a Viper. %^)
The movie was the Living Daylights.
Bond was played by Dalton, and the Audi was used by Bond to transport the defecting Russian general from the music recital where the defection took place to natural gas pipeline station where they stuffed the general in a cleaning puck and shot him through the pipeline out of the country, where a waiting Harrier jump jet flew him to safety...

There was a total of two Audis. First, he's in Austria smuggling a spy from Slovakia. In that scene, it's an Audi 200 quattro (Euro version), there was no V8 at that time yet. Then later in the movie he is somewhere in the middle East I believe and he's driving an Audi 200 Avant Quattro, again an Euro version.
And the Bond girl in that one was most suckable =)
