Do you know the cop's name, or what he looked like? He was actually doing you a favor by reducing it to the traffic control device cite, instead of speeding.

He was volusia sheriff. Bike cop. He was with a Daytona PD bike cop. I knew the PD Bike Cop, can't remember his name right now, but he's a latino guy, early 30s. I've met him before and he's a good guy. It was a shame, cuz he told me, "yeah man, if I ever pull you over, just remind me I had a drink with you, and I won't give you a ticket." Unfortunately, the sheriff was the one issuing my ticket, as the other guy was busy with another car they'd pulled over (they were running a speed trap). I was gonna ask the sheriff if I could talk to the PD, but figured it'd be awkward.

He's got terrible handwriting, but the ticket, it looks like his name is SGT. J Whitdet or something like that.
