Christian noted a few weeks back a small article in Car & Driver on a product called Rejex. It is a wax-like polymer coating that is supposed to be a high-release surface, meaning that it is sort of like Teflon on pans... nothing sticks to it and easy to clean. After a positive C&D review, I placed my order, since the BBS wheels on my A6 are a PITA to clean. I purchased it through the website at www.corrosionx.com, and it arrived within a week.
The product goes on just like one of those polymer wax products. Wipe on, dry to a glaze, wipe off.
After a couple of weeks, some observations. First, the wheels don't seem to collect brake dust like they used to. (coated with Blitz wax) I've attached a picture of the fronts and rears after two weeks that included 400+ miles of combined highway and city driving.

I swear that after negotiating some of our summer thunderstorms at speed on I-4, the wheels were cleaner than before the storm. Even after a couple of weeks, the rears were still so clean that I didn't even scrub them.
Then, at wash time, I thought I'd try just hosing them off, as Car & Driver suggested might work. Sprayed some P21 Wheel Cleaner on and hit the wheel with a strong jet. Limited success there.. still considerable brake dust. Still needed to scrub the fronts. A picture of the clean wheel is provided for comparison purposes.

All in all though, I'm happy with the results. My wheels used to be black after a week or so, and they seem to stay much cleaner now. And the scrubbing at wash time is much reduced. Worth the investment IMHO.
