Since no advertiser on here does that service, I don't see asking for a VIN to be run a problem. But thats just my opinion.

If you want to run a car fax, just think around the rule. post something like "so is car fax a worthwhile use of money?" and in the text say you would like to hear from people who currently have CF service. Then you can email them off the forum and ask if they will run the vin for you.
