I find the wrapped leather steering wheel a bit too smooth to the touch.

Will it roughen up in time and use and look more like leather?

The sport steering really is TOO smooth. I never really feel I have enough grip.
This weekend I've decided to go to the local automotive store,
and buy a leather steering wheel cover. I've used them before,
and the grip is a lot better.........
