...the following "features", or it just my A4?

- The Homelink(tm) transmitter is not connected to the "retained power" feature.

- The volume from my in dash CD is much lower then the output from the radio or cassette. I find I need to make manual adjustments when switching from CD to radio or radio to CD.

I don't have my '00 1.8T QMS yet, but it is stateside in Houston, so the dealer should have it in Phoenix in the next 2 weeks (yay!)

Anyway, on the volume problem, has anyone tried to correlate the CD behavior to the GALA feature? I wonder if the GALA feature only applies to radio/tape and not with the new CD player?

On the homelink problem, that's just dumb. Maybe Audi figures so many are driving the 1.8T A4's hard, we can just use the homelink while we are waiting for our Turbos to cool with the engine running...and the 2.8 owners just get the shaft :)
