Sometimes the topics get a little negative on this forum so I thought I would add a positive note. I think my 98.5 A4 Avant 2.8 30V QMS is the best car I have ever owned. This car has had no problems and I drive it hard. There are no sqeeks, rattles or deteriation of any kind. The paint is still perfect after 30 + washes and the interior is durable as well. It can haul everything from beer kegs to dogs and still go 130 MPH!! How is that for a "stationwagon". All in all I highly recommend the Avant and have no regrets on my purchase. First, No I don't mind at all.
Second, it's the Avantoffroad.jpg pick, which is my car with two bikes on a trip to Moab, UT. That's actually one of my favorite pictures.
If you want some more, let me know. I have a bunch. Also, I am about to perform some major changes to my Avant. If you're interested I can fill you in.

And you should have seen the look on my girlfriends face when she got a chance to drive the car and play with the tip. Oooooh baby!
But seriously, my A4 1.8tq tip Avant is the best car I've ever owned or driven. I've driven plenty of cars that were faster or more expensive, but never anything quite as refined, smooth, balanced, pretty, compliant and functional.
Sheesh, am I really talking about a car here? ;-)
