I have decided to sell it. No this is not a momentary lapse of reason but I have been pondering this for a few weeks and now and the new Deawoo Nubia wagons just came in and I just have to have one. You all pretty much know what I've got on my car so I won't bother listing it all here. I'll give a 2% finders fee to anyone who refers the actual buyer to me. My home number is 407-709-4945. Nada has the car listed with a average retail value of $23k. I'd like to get $26K. This descision is completely vouluntary so if I cant walk away with the equity and some return on the mods I won't let it go. Your assistance is appreciated.

Did you ever get a hold of those people or are they still not answering the phone?

Yea, 333BHP is REALLY tempting and after watching a TOP GEAR review on it I have a sudden urge to find a sharp turn to power slide through. No I haven't tried again. Mikes got to order a drive shaft for me (or a "prop shaft") according to ETKA so I'll wait until it comes in to do the brake service. How many bottles do you think I'll need? Jorge Ruiz said for the best results, to flush the system with one bottle to keep any of the residual old fluid from mixing with the fresh synthetic fluid.

I figure with what I have spent on mods I am pretty close, if not over, where I would of been with an E46 M3. Although If were going to go BMW I would of probably bought a '99 M Coupe and turbo'ed it.

True. That's what I like about the M3. It really doesn't need anything. The wheels are right, the suspension is right, body styling is right. It's a pretty complete package. there is really nothing about the car that I don't like or that I would change. I guess there shouldn't be for 50G's plus. It's a little ways off but that's the road I'm heading down.
I grab 3 bottles. One to flush out the system and the other to fill it. I was doing some research and I think the fluid is the culprit with my soft pedal problem. It'g gotten better over time but It's nowhere near the feel of Jordan's car....****...did I just give something away?? ;-) just kidding.....

If your not in a hurry I'm probably going to pick some more up in the coming weeks. I could grab you a few bottles and drop them off at Classic.

Well two things I don't like about the new M3, Cloth inserts instead of Alcantara and When you have the Nav option you loose your in-dash CD player.

I just want a blood and guts sports car. Sunroof is about the only option. And Angel Eyes. I have to have Angel Eyes. I like the yellow but Jenna likes the dark red...

I remember the first time I saw the A4 I immediately thought, Wheels, tires, rear wing and suspension. At first glance at the M3 the only thing I would have liked to see was a rear lip spoiler. After driving the car I couldn't think of a thing to change. The handleing was incredible, the acceleration was like nothing I'd ever driven (accept for maybe that silver MTM S4 Classic had last year)and the overall styling already had everything I would want. Front and rear valances, and side skirts.

It's got too much green in it for me. Have you seen it in person? Of course anything is better than Laguna Seca Blue.

I don't want't a black car been there. I have to look at the color chips. I might go down there next week. I've got to put a flyer together and give it to the salesmen at Classic. They seem pretty confident that they can sell my car. What is SMG???

It's supposed to be able to complete a shift in 80 milliseconds.

Is it paddle shift or push button. On the wheel? That would be a really hard choice. I am a staunch manual advocate but a paddle shift on the wheel F1 style would probably sway me. I don't think I'd change for push button.

Sequential Manual Gearbox (SMG) is a 6-speed manual transmission that incorporates two shift modes: Sequential and Automated. In Sequential mode, shifting is controlled by moving the shift lever forward/rearward or by using shift paddles located at the 10 and 2 o'clock positions on the steering wheel. In Automated mode, shifting is controlled by the SMG system. In both Sequential and Automated modes, the driver has a choice of five DRIVELOGIC programs, ranging from comfort to sporty. The SMG transmission was inspired by and developed from BMW Motorsport and is more engaging than a BMW automatic transmission.

Advantages

Shifting can occur faster than even an expert driver can achieve. (as fast as 80 milliseconds)
2 modes: Sequential and Automated
5 DRIVELOGIC programs controlling gearshift actuation
SMG revs the throttle during downshifts to help modulate engine braking.
A BMW Motorsport inspired gearbox with Formula One style controls.
An alternative manual transmission you can shift in quick succession to move rapidly through the gears
Shift lights maximize engine performance (sequential mode)

It goes in to production vehicles next month. It's their second SMG system. The Euro E36 got the first version of the SMG. It's a $2400 option but I bought the car I would get it because its pretty trick. A friend of mine has driven the original SMG and (Although he said the F355 F1 trans was better) liked it so I would imagine this is even better. The US doesn't get the launch mode, though I have heard the are going to put a limit on how many times you can use the launch mode and still be covered under warranty in Europe.

$2700.00 option. that's alot of cake for a tranny. I built my car. 51G's out the door. $697.oo per month including tax. I like the grey with black leather. got the sunroof, xenons, (will they by default be the "Angel Eyes"? I forgot to ask the salesman.)and the Harmon Kardon stereo. Also bought stock in Michellin Tire Co.

with all of this terrorist stuff going on, they had about 9 people back out of pre-orders. It really wont effect me anyway since more than likely I'll be getting a 2003 model. By then the market wont bare a $3500.00 premium on top of MSRP. I'll tell you what though. I can get a Z06 for about the same money.....

I wouldn't buy one. I'm not in the market for that kind of car. But I think the price point is pretty good for a car that can probably be competative on the track straight off the showroom floor. That's why the M3 is great. All that performance and you can take people places in it...
