This what I was talking about. I take a 2D drawing, convert it to iges (wire frame) then use it to create a solid model (in the computer) using Unigraphics, Alias Wavefront, 3D Studio, or Mastercam. From there I can either CNC the part or SLA (stereolithography, same machine APR does their rapid prototyping with) it.
